- 1 1/3 cups cake flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped
- 6 - 1-1/2” pieces of red licorice
- 6 mini pretzel twists
Chocolate Mousse:
- 1/2 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- One 1-ounce square unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1/2 3.9 ounce package instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1/2 cup heavy cream, whipped
Equipment Needed:
- Dry measuring cups
- Measuring spoons
- Liquid measuring cup
- 2 Large metal bowls (one for stand-up mixer If using)
- Small bowl to crack egg into
- Wooden spoon
- Rubber spatula
- Muffin tin filled with either brown paper liners or no liners (if using no liners, butter and flour pan)
- Stand-up or hand mixer
- Pastry bag with star tip
- Spoon
- Apple corer (optional)
