FISHER DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT
Dodgeball 2024 is scheduled for March 22.
Our annual Fisher Dodgeball Tournament is a favorite of Fisher students. Fisher students join teams of 6-8 players in the same grade to play in a one-day Dodgeball Tournament. Fisher faculty and staff get involved as referees, announcers, and scorekeepers. It is fun for everyone involved.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Dodgeball Tournament will be held on Friday, March 22 in the school gym.
The Tournament will be a fundraising event.
That day will be early release, and the tournament will run 12:30-5:00 (end time is an approximation)

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Teams:
- Teams will be made up of 6-10 players. You must have at least two players of each sex (at least 2 males AND at least 2 females) to register as a team. If you have less than 6 players on the team, open spots may be filled by the Dodgeball Committee with Free Agents. If you have less than 6 players or are an individual who is not part of a team and would like to play, please register as a Free Agent. If you would like to be placed on a team with a friend, please indicate this on the registration form.
- All players on a team must be in the same grade. Teams will only play teams from within their grade
- Each team must designate a Team Captain (a player who will lead the team & help coordinate).
- Each team must have a Team Parent (parent of one of the players) to register. The Team Parent will help manage the team and must be present at the tournament. Team Manager must be a cleared volunteer with LGUSD.
- Each player must list Team Name, Team Captain’s Name, and Team Parent’s name on the registration form, unless they are a Free Agent.
- Teams must have a Team Name and create a costume/t-shirt. Team names must be approved by school administration. Teams must be able to play in their costumes/t-shirts and provide the Coach with a costume/t-shirt. No inflatable costumes allowed.
- There will be costume judging during the morning break on the day of the tournament. Participation in this is optional. Those who choose to participate must do so as a team.
- Each team must have 2 additional parents volunteer to help with the tournament. These 2 parents must be a cleared volunteer with LGUSD. There will be opportunities days ahead of the event, during the event, and after the event. These volunteer shifts will be approximately 2.5 hours in duration. If your team does not have a Team Parent AND two parent volunteers, your team will be disqualified. The volunteer opportunities will be emailed out shortly after registration closes.
- Each team will be assigned a Coach by school administration.
- Free Agents will be grouped together as a team if there are enough Free Agents and team spots are available. Otherwise, Free Agents may be added to existing teams with available space.
Registration
- Team Captain registers the team. Team Captain must have all the information on the Team Planning form prior to registration.
- There is a $50 participation fee for each player. Assistance is available for those who may need it.
- Registration will be the week of February 5-9 and will proceed by grade:
February 6 - 7th Grade
February 7 - 6th Grade
February 9 - Final Day for all to register
- A parent/guardian must sign all waivers upon the payment of participation fee.
- The timestamp of the team’s registration determines the first come first served order.
- We will send the Team Parent an email when the team has met all the registration requirements and is officially registered.
- This year’s event will have spectators! A limited number of spectator tickets (based on capacity) will be sold beginning the first week of March
